The State Association of Daughters of Pioneers of Washington has over the years published several books of historical interest.

SOAPSUDS TO SUNDAY SCHOOL written by Louise Rice was first published in 1990. It was republished in 2001. This is a living history of the pioneer housewife. Retail cost is $16.50 per book with 20% off for quantities.

RESEARCH AND REMEMBRANCES is a collection of research papers done by the Research Committee and submitted to the Annual Conventions of the Daughters of the Pioneers of Washington. Topics vary, resulting in a wealth of history, geography, incidents and items of interest. Retail cost is $10.00.

Children of the Pioneers is a compilation of stories written and collected by TheDaughters of the Pioneers of Washington, Whidbey Island Chapter #6. This 146 page, wire-bound book has 25 historical tales, bountiful photographs of scenes and people and includes two useful indexes as well as maps showing locations and early donation land claims. Cost is $15.00 each plus S & H of $5.00
